TOMS Shoes is showing its support for World Sight Day on October 13th by commissioning three L.A. artists to create live public works in the days leading up to the event. Phil Lumbang, Aaron Axelrod and street artist Septerhed are all contributing, and they were each given the same images of reference to draw inspiration from for the ‘Gift of Sight’ series. Phil Lumbang used his familiar cartoon bears for his work of art, which has been displayed at the non-profit writing and tutoring center 826LA.
