Gin Brand Invites Consumers To Redesign Its Bottle For A Special Edition

Beefeater hosts a design competition in Sweden to create new packaging and a signature cocktail.

For the launch of a special edition of Beefeater London Dry Gin in Sweden, Beefeater is inviting Swedish consumers to express their creativity and love for London by entering a competition for the new Beefeater bottle. The Stockholm-London creative challenge contains two categories: design and cocktail.

For the first, consumers need to show off their creative skills and give an interpretation of modern London by designing a new label for the classic London brick bottle. For the cocktail category, consumers need to create a signature drink for Beefeater London Dry Gin, which gives others a taste of what London means to them. Rai Fierro, the brand manager of Beefeater Sweden, said:

Sweden is in the front line when it comes to design, creativity and innovative ideas. When the opportunity now came to present a special edition and unique version of our classic Beefeater ”Londonbrick” bottle we wanted to bring out all of this creativity and give the Swedes a chance to be a part of the process.

One winner will be chosen from each category and they will be invited to London to create the design and the cocktail for the special edition together with the Beefeater international team, which will then be featured at selected restaurants and bars in Stockholm next year. The deadline for the competition is January 15th, with the winners presented on January 31st.
