Australian Surfers Welcome Summer With Neon Wetsuits & Surfboards
Strongbow created a night time surfing event to celebrate the start of Summer in Australia. 17 surfers were invited to participate in this event held at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Each of the surfers were handed a custom-made neon surfboard and wetsuit that glowed in the dark.
The result was striking as spectators looked on to see neon outlines and streaks floating among the waves. The short video below documented the ‘Welcoming of Summer’ event and was shot by legendary surfing filmmakers Jack McCoy, Bali Strickland and Eugene Tan.
