Beer Brand Sponsors Cultural Project To Make Unique Sound System Out Of Cans [Video]

‘Make Something from Nothing’ is the first project of the ‘Make with a Red Stripe’ series sponsored by Red Stripe beer. This unique sound sculpture was created by sound artist Yuri Suzuki, along with DJ Al Fingers, singer/songwriter Gappy Ranks and designer Matthew Kneebone.

Made from nearly 5,000 recycled Red Stripe beer cans that were partly collected at this year’s Notting Hill carnival in London, the sound system is 2.5 metres high. It debuted in November with an exclusive launch party at Village Underground in Shoreditch, London, which featured a set by Ben UFO.
