Gilt Taste, the culinary marketplace of Gilt Groupe, has marked itself as the debut shopping feature on Flipboard for iPad.  Launched during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period, the collaboration between the new brands provides consumers with the opportunity to browse through stories, recipes and video then enabling them to purchase curated food and wine, all with the swipe of a fingertip.  The highly visual nature of Gilt Taste serves as a seamless integration with the iPad, luring users to quickly connect from content to e-commerce in a mobile capacity.
