Consumers will be able to purchase the collection in the same month it’s shown at Couture Fashion Week.
At the Paris tech conference Le Web last week, Karl Lagerfeld and Net-a-Porter’s founder and executive chairman Natalie Massenet announced that they would be collaborating on a new fashion line. The rock-and-roll-themed collection Karl will launch exclusively on the retail site for the first month and Net-a-Porter will continue to be the only online seller of the 70 items of clothing after they becomes available in selected stores.
The delay between the fashion line’s launch and consumer availability will also be drastically shortened. After it debuts at the Couture Fashion Week in Paris on January 25th, the entire collection will be available to buy that same month.
