Menswear Retailer Launches Monthly Digital Magazine

By Emma Hutchings on December 1, 2011

The menswear retailer Topman is delving into the world of media with a new monthly digital magazine. Topman Generation launched yesterday and is accessible globally through a link on Topman’s website so you don’t need to download a dedicated app. The cross-platform magazine is viewable on desktops, tablets and smartphones, and has been designed by M&C Saatchi.

The former Dazed Digital arts and culture editor John-Paul Pryor is in charge of content and the magazine will offer a cultural insight into fashion, film, music, sport and art. Items of clothing that are worn in the photo features will be linked and available for immediate purchase on the main site.

Topman Generation will feature interviews with the likes of Yoko Ono, Seth Rogen, The Chapman Brothers, Kirsten Dunst, The Jesus & Mary Chain and Rankin; rising fashion photographers such as Damien Fry, Kate Cox and Katja Meyer; and new menswear designers Lou Dalton, Matthew Miller, James Long, David Saunders and Shaun Samson. Topman’s Design Director, Gordon Richardson, said:

The magazine is the perfect vehicle for us to actively engage with our customer. Fusing all aspects of modern culture into an indispensable monthly showcase Topman Generation launches Topman into a new era.
