Miniature Air-Circulator Fan Has Duct Shaped Like An Elephant’s Trunk

The “Mini-Elefan,” from Japanese lifestyle product retailer IDEA, is a smaller version of their successful air-circulator, the “Elefan.. Its compact and unique design features an elephant trunk-shaped duct, which can be bent or stretched in different directions so the air is angled to where you want it.

Designed by the Yuen’to team, the Mini-Elefan is inspired by institutional-use fans. It has a fan-less, duct-type design and you can choose the strength of the air from strong, weak or natural. The miniature fan operates using an accompanying USB cable and the filter can be changed to keep the air clean. The air-circulator also has an aroma attachment that lets you enjoy a scented breeze.

The Mini-Elefan will be added to IDEA’s catalog in February 2012 and international customers will be able to order it from the IDEA Design Collection. You can see a video demonstration of Yuen’to’s Elefan from IDEA’s Japanese online shop below:
