Old Navy’s Mobile Ad Campaign Within Pandora Drives In-Store Traffic

Old Navy’s Mobile Ad Campaign Within Pandora Drives In-Store Traffic

By Emma Hutchings on December 13, 2011

American clothing brand and retailer Old Navy, a division of Gap Inc., is running a number of ads this holiday season as part of a new mobile campaign within the personalized internet radio service Pandora. The fashion company has expandable, full page and audio adverts on Pandora’s site, which aim to attract the listeners to its stores and mobile e-commerce platform.

Old Navy is promoting special deals including offering consumers graphic tees for $5. When they click on the ads, they are redirected to the retailer’s mobile site where they can browse the selection of tees as well as a variety of other holiday items. The mobile site lets consumers search for goods by category and also helps them locate their nearest store so they can view the products in person. Old Navy hopes the ad campaign will increase both foot traffic in its stores and online traffic to its mobile commerce-enabled website.
