The luxury appliance manufacturer Jenn-Air has launched a new augmented reality iOS app that allows consumers to see how different products and models would fit into their lives. DesignVision transforms a kitchen by letting consumers choose new appliances and position them over old ones.

AR App Helps Consumers Envision Appliances In Their Homes

Using the app, consumers can take pictures of their kitchen and replace their oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc, with a luxury Jenn-Air appliance. They are shown a specific collection of branded products, letting them choose the exact model and color they would like. The augmented reality feature then lets them place it over their current appliance to see how Jenn-Air’s product would look in their kitchen. If they like what they see, they can browse the mobile site for more information or use the showroom locator to find the appliance nearby.
