Band Give Fans New, Free Content For Boosting Its Presence On Instragram
Instagram’s integration into Facebook is a positive sign for the platform, which boasts some 15 million users that have downloaded the photo-app on their iPhones. Scottish band, Twin Atlantic, decided to reward their fans with exclusive video and audio content for sharing Instagram images and hashtagging them with #freetwinatlantic when they post to Twitter. To encourage their fans to participate, they issued this statement:
Share your Instagram photos using #freetwinatlantic to unlock exclusive Twin Atlantic audio and video content, only available here. The more Instagram photos you share with #freetwinatlantic, the more content you help unlock. Every fan-submitted Instagram photo will become an original tile on the Virgin Mary photo mosaic poster, available for pre-order now!
The images are gathered on a promotional site and the images will then be included in a mosaic poster that fans can pre-order by visiting the site below.
