Google has recently announced that it will be launching a game on Google+ in February using its maps tool. The 26-second teaser video shows a blue ball navigating around Google Maps cube. The labyrinth game will allow users to control the ball by tilting the cube and collect points for visiting certain points and places on the map, such as restaurants, retail shops, parks etc.

The gamification of Google Maps will allow users to become familiar with the service and product in an engaging manner. The campaign was created by agency B-Reel as part of Google’s ‘Start here’ campaign that demonstrates how users can utilize Google Maps.
