Retail Meets Residential In This 2-In-1 Boutique And Guest House [Pics]

Swedish designer Ulrika Lundgren has expanded her boutique, which sells her own brand of women’s clothing and accessories (RIKA) to include a gallery and a two-room guest house. This innovative hybrid business model makes great use of multi-floor real estate to extend a stylish brand and take it in a new and exciting direction.

The retail/hospitality space RIKA Maison has opened in Amsterdam’s scenic canal district. Superfuture reports that the ground floor gallery is used to showcase a selection of Lundgren’s favorite items from her current collection as well as exclusive lifestyle products. The space will also be used to host a number of pop-up events relating to fashion, music and art. Upstairs, the two rooms with ensuite bathrooms are beautifully decorated with both contemporary and vintage furniture and works of art.
