The Rinspeed Dock+Go is a two-seater electric vehicle concept with an on-demand third axle to provide more versatility..
The Dock+Go from Rinspeed is a new concept for an electric smart car created by Swiss automotive visionary Frank M. Rinderknecht. The two-seater vehicle can have different “backpacks” attached to it for extra luggage space when you need it. Some of the backpack examples include one with a built-in isothermal box for pizza delivery drivers, one for winter sports enthusiasts to store their snow gear in, an energy pack fitted with a range extender or additional batteries, and a sound pack that infotainment specialists Harman have kitted out with a variety of multimedia features.
The Dock+Go has chrome accents on the bodywork, which are digital displays that turn blue at night and can display logos, messages and even Facebook updates. A 12.1-inch LCD screen in the center of the dashboard provides access to the car’s intelligent infotainment system built by Harman.
