Following a traditional recipe book might not be the most enticing way for children to learn to cook and usually ends up in a mess. Digital books like the Hello Kitty Interactive Cookbook hopes to change this with its kid-friendly interface and easy-to-use navigation. The digital cookbook can be downloaded on the Apple iPad and includes handy features like read-out-loud recipes and enables pages to be turned with simple voice commands. There’s even a measurement converter to adjust serving quantities, step-by-step video instructions, and recipes can be easily shared on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.
The fun app was created by Castle Builders and licensed by Sanrio and can be downloaded for $2.99 in the App Store.
