Intel Flashmob Syncs Laptops For A Surprise Pop-Up Theater [Video]

Intel used a choreographed flashmob of 60 people to create a digital billboard made of Ultrabooks to demonstrate the product’s ultra-thin design and responsiveness. The team carried out a series of live surprise stunts in various places across Los Angeles, using the lightweight laptops to interact with passersby and transforming everyday locations into pop-up theaters. The Ultrabooks were synched together via wi-fi and the billboards were used to cheer on people playing sports, entertain people with musical performances and provide a nighttime fireworks display.
