The Creative Shop creates the ‘V Energy Power Wall’ to provide an easy and accessible way to capture and share photos of people at various outdoor events.
Energy drink brand V Energy is hosting a rear-projection interactive digital image wall at Australian music festivals, launched in conjunction with The Creative Shop and The Sound Campaign. The ‘Power Wall’ invites festival goers to take their picture via a HD camera and touch screen, displaying photos on the wall and the V Energy Facebook Page. SMS messages are also sent to festival goers that interact with the wall, containing a link to their image on Facebook.
The 3-metre high, 5-metre wide V Energy Power Wall will be a prominent brand activation on the 2012 summer music festival tour, appearing at Summadayze, Future Music Festival and Big Day Out nationally. Chris Donald, brand manager of Frucor Beverages (Australia), said:
The addition of the V Energy Power Wall has enhanced the overall experience of the V Energy Green Room within the music festival environment, providing a unique and interactive alternative to the tried and true photographer and media wall backdrop which we have previously employed. By including the SMS call-to-action, we’re able to extend the conversation with festival attendees and bring them into the broader brand experience and communications as they join our Facebook community to browse and share their photographs from the event.
