PSFK Gets Up Close With Furry iPad Creatures [Video]

By Matt Sabourin on February 20, 2012

PSFK recently ran a story about creative agency Carnation Group’s Totoya Creatures, the cute and fluffy plush toys that convert your iDevice into cuddly, friendly monsters that respond to voice, tactile commands and touch controls. The creature serves a double purpose as it also acts as a fluffy coat of armor protecting your iPad or iPhone from the inevitable ravages of any sticky-fingered toddler you reluctantly hand your device off to.

Creators, Carnation Group, are looking to develop baby-monitoring technology so you can sync your iPad inside the plush case with you phone to keep track of your youngster when they’re out of sight.

János Duno of Carnation Group recently stopped by the PSFK office to show us the Totoya Creatures firsthand and brought us a special one to keep. Check out a video below to see PSFK’s own Piers Fawkes and Dory Carr-Harris demo the YetYet creature for iPad.
