A Tumblr page is a blank canvas. A post can be a picture, a song, a link, a video. Many of the most successful never post prose. The essence of a Tumblr blog, or “tumblelog”, is freedom for self-expression. A great Tumblr post is reblogged again and again; it tumbles across continents and generations.
