Paris boutique Colette hosted an indoor market featuring brands like Nike, Barbie, Carhartt and Fed Perry.
Paris boutique Colette marked its 15th anniversary with a free indoor celebration over the weekend in the Tuileries. A large tent was filled with 120 stands for a host of different brands in a child-friendly event that reinterpreted the spirit of an old fashioned carnival.
It drew 20,000 people over two days, with activities and games like table tennis, bowling, basketball, food tastings, a kissing booth, piñata-making, a photo session with Barbie, and glow-in-the-dark hula-hooping. There was also a ring toss game with the chance to win a flannel hard cap from Julien David, toy duck shooting with Carhartt, a Nike-sponsored dance class and a book signing with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
Brands including Carven, Kenzo, Comme des Garçons, Ed Banger Records, Olympia Le-Tan, Yazbukey, Clarins, Lacoste, Kitsuné, and Fred Perry all had stands selling products and some offered complimentary gifts to attendees.
