Beer May Help Creative Problem-Solving [Headlines]


The alcoholic beverage can free the mind to make it more effective in certain types of decision making.

A recent study conducted at the University of Illinois at Chicago found that small amounts of beer help creative problem-solving.

Cognitive psychologist Jennifer Wiley describes “We found at 0.07 blood alcohol, people were worse at working memory tasks, but they were better at creative problem-solving tasks.”  The Consumerist
