The duo-function Bamboo pen writes on notebooks and the iPad.

Wacom has recently unveiled its new Bamboo Stylus that combines an ink pen on one end, and a stylus tip on the other. The pen works on both the iPad and Android tablet devices, and can be used alongside Wacom’s notebook app Bamboo Paper.

The duo stylus pen is a clever idea as most tablet users still like to jot down notes and sketch out ideas on paper. By combining two functions in one, it eliminates the need for users to carry two type of pens around, and having to inconveniently switch writing instruments in meetings or classes. The latest Bamboo Stylus pen will be available next month and will retail for around $50.
