He gives the perfumers he invites a lot of freedom, an unlimited selection of ingredients and as much time as they need to create a scent. He has recently released his first book, On Perfume Making, which describes his collaborations for Editions de Parfums, the complexities of creating a fragrance, and details of the formulas and raw materials.
