A chef from Brooklyn, New York USA, has turned a used NYPD van into a grilled cheese business on wheels. Michael Jacober, 29, purchased the second-hand vehicle at a police auction for $6,000. The van that was formerly used to house criminals, now serves delicious sandwiches right from the side window.

The Morris Grilled Cheese truck drives around the DUMBO, Chelsea, and Midtown areas. The van location can be tracked and pinpointed online on its website. Jacober explained his business idea, “I wanted to take a step into something that wasn’t high risk. It’s not like investing in a restaurant where the start up costs are much higher”
