The Sports Car Challenge app recently added the Bentley Continental GT V8 model to allow iPhone and iPad users to test virtually test drive the vehicle. The Volkswagen branded app also features other luxury cars in the group, such as Audi, Lamborghini, and Porsche.
The app gives users the opportunity to see the car in a 360-degree video view, before test driving it in one of two race courses. Matt Smith, Digital Strategy Manager at Bentley Motors, explained that:
The Sports Car Challenge app presents Bentley with a great opportunity to highlight the powerful, sporty and performance-orientated element of our brand. By using such technology-specific content, Bentley is building brand awareness by developing new ways of promoting our products with new audiences.
In just four months, the app has reached over 2 million downloads. There are also three gameplay modes, including time trial, slalom, and braking practice.
