Tata Motors is a step closer to developing a greener vehicle that emits zero pollution.
Auto giant Tata Motors is one step closer to actualizing engines that run on compressed air for the commercial market. The company holds the license to build Motor Development International’s (MDI) zero pollution engines in India.
Tata Motors sated that the “proof of the technical concept” phase is now complete and has been successfully demonstrated in two branded vehicles. Now, the motor company is moving into phase two of the program which involves “completing detailed development of the compressed air engine into specific vehicle and stationary applications.”
