Giorgio Armani has unveiled the EA7 Emporio Armani collection he designed for the Italian Olympic Team to wear at the upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games. 15 Italian athletes from different disciplines accompanied the designer to model the Olympic kit, which includes white and midnight blue pieces including a tracksuit with an asymmetric closure, a nylon jacket, shorts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, and running shoes.

The national anthem is written in gold inside the jackets and sweatshirts, and its first verse appears on a blue band under the collar of the polo shirts. ‘The Sense of Being’ campaign, which supports the collection, features a series of black and white posters and videos of the athletes:
