La Bastide de Moustiers is a boutique 12-room hotel in the Alpes de Haute-Provence. The hotel offers a unique experience for guests to attend a picnic organized by its chefs. Guests are chauffeured to the outdoor event in a retro 1950s Chevrolet pick-up truck. Upon arrival, they will find a table laid with a tablecloth and gourmet food inside a hamper basket.

The food is specially prepared by the chefs and include seasonal produce from the hotel’s vegetable garden and local markets. To add to the feast, wine is also served to compliment each course. The ‘Picnic in a Pickup’ starts from €190 per person and can cater from two to six people.
