Neva has created the world’s first set of ski poles with a built-in wireless communication system that can by synced to iPhone or Android phones. The patent-pending ski poles allow users to see and answer calls, view text messages, and access information to the location without fumbling around to find the phone.

The Neva ski poles comes with an OLED display on top of one of the pole handles, which shows caller ID, SMS, time, temperature, and elevation. Users can answer a call simply with finger swipe, even if they have snow gloves on.

The high-grade aluminum poles comes equipped with rechargeable batteries that can last up to three days on a single charge. It utilizes a Bluetooth adapter for fast and power-efficient between the smartphone and Neva’s system. The technology is currently looking for backers on Kickstarter.
