If there’s one brand that isn’t resting on its laurels, it’s Burberry. Under the watchful gaze of its tech savvy Design Director Christopher Bailey, the brand has consistently been one of the first to embrace every major social media trend to hit fashion, often taken the lead. With the help (no doubt) of their creative agency CREATETHE GROUP, Burberry will now be launching Runway to Reality (R2R) in select stores and globally on Burberry.com.

Through this unique program, Burberry will allow customers the chance to purchase Prorsum outerwear and accessories straight from the SS13 runway, with delivery taking six to eight weeks. This promotion begins immediately after their runway show on Saturday, June 23rd and will only last for one week, until Sunday, July 1st.

As part of the promotion, consumers from all over the world will be able to experience the show live through video, imagery and music at Burberry.com, Facebook, Twitter and through global online news, blogs, technology and fashion websites, viewable on mobile devices including the iPhone and iPad.

The full show can be watched on demand at Burberry.com, Facebook and on partner sites globally. Burberry will also be continuing its partnership with Twitter to create a live menswear ‘Tweetwalk’ show, premiering the Spring/Summer 2013, with instant images of looks live from the show space in Milan.

So for those unable to hit Milan later this month, have no fear: you can still view (and get your hands on) some of the iconic brand’s newest look, all from the comfort of your desk chair.
