Intel has been testing out its latest all-in-one-PC concept that features an induction charger that is embedded on the side of the notebook. By simply fitting the smartphone with a receiver, and placing it next to the laptop, the transmitter is able to charge the mobile wirelessly.

The inductive charging laptop is great for travelers as its means one less chord to carry around, and it could also mean a greener alternative if the induction charger consumes less energy. Watch the video below as The Verge demonstrates Intel’s technology with an Acer Aspire laptop and a Samsung smartphone.
