Designers Jo Joo Hyun, Choi Sung Hun, Jin Min Hee, Park So Jeing, have created SAVE:US, a a hall light that drops down as a detachable flashlight when an emergency is triggered. The hall light functions just like any other ordinary light on normal days, but during emergency situations such as an earthquake or power outage, SAVE:US drops a pull-down torchlight that you can use to find your way in the darkness. Using a GPS indicator built inside the torchlight, rescue teams can easily locate you in a building, if needed.
