Allie Walker

China’s total carbon emissions have made it the largest national producer since 2006, but emissions per person have always been lower than those in European countries. With a 9% increase in CO2 emissions per person in 2011, the average Chinese person now has relatively the same as a European; 7.2 tons per person in China vs. 7.5 tons per person in Europe. Guardian
