Gadget Allows Home Chefs To Cook The Perfect Steak Every Time

Gadget Allows Home Chefs To Cook The Perfect Steak Every Time

The complicated process of sous vide is made easy with this compact appliance.

Yi Chen

Q and Abe have turned a complicated cooking tool to a simple gadget that anyone can use. Nomiku is a sous vide cooking accessory that ensures a pot of water stays at a consistent temperature. The technique is often used by professional chefs, and immersion circulators can cost upwards of $1,000. However, the Nomiku is able to retail for just $299 so anyone can now cook the perfect medium-rare steak, or succulent ribs.

Sous vide is the process of putting the meat and the ingredients into an airtight bag, and letting it boil in a precise heat of water bath. The Nomiku is compact appliance that clips onto any pot and can be easily stored away when not in use.
