Canadian industrial design student Christina Sicoli from the University of Alberta has designed an innovative piece of multi-use furniture. ‘Switch-It‘ looks like a regular floor lamp but the shade can be easily pushed flat to change it into a functioning, occasional use, side table. This minimalist and simplistic design explores flexibility in both material and function.
