With the increase reliance on technology, we’re either staring at the computer monitor, or browsing on our smartphone or tablet. This has also affected the number of users experiencing dry eyes, fatigue and eyestrain caused by looking at a screen for too long. Panasonic has created a portable eye mask that goes beyond just using eye drops. The Este ES-SW50 uses steam to rejuvenate tired eyes.

The Este uses rechargeable batteries, but can only run up to 12 minutes on a single charge. The personal device will be launched in Japan in September, but there is no confirmation of an international release.
