Artist Creates 8-Bit Clothing From Melted Beads [Pics]

Sabine Ducasse creates unique pieces of clothing by fusing perler beads together for her ‘Melting Pot’ project.

Shanghai-based designer Sabine Ducasse has created a unique fashion collection by fusing perler beads together into colorful and retro pieces of clothing. ‘Melting Pot’ features the popular children’s crafting toy used to form pixelated 8-bit designs with an East-meets-West aesthetic. Ducasse’s collection won her a scholarship to the International Fashion Academy. Click through to see a selection of the unique pieces:
