PSFK Presents The Future Of Work

As we wrap up the first week of our month-long Future of Work series, we’re taking a look back at the topics covered as part of the Employee-Centered Office.

Remember, we want to hear from you and we’re giving away great prizes to the readers with the best submissions. To win, take a look at each of the categories below and if you have an example of your own to add, then share it with us. Maybe it’s a picture of your own workplace, or maybe it’s an interesting idea that you stumbled across on the web. Whatever the origin, sent it along to us for a chance to win. Be sure to include the proper hashtags (see below) so that we know who you are. Winners across all four categories will be announced next week, along with the second Future of Work theme.

Employee-Centered Office:

1. How Are Open Office Designs Encouraging Collaboration?

PSFK is asking readers to submit their favorite places to work alongside their fellow employees. Is it a conference table, couch or cafe?

We’d like to hear where collaboration occurs in your own work day, so share your photographs, amazing examples of inspirational spaces and any other ideas we should be tracking.

The best response will win a Jawbone JAMBOX Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. Tweet us your ideas to @psfk using #FoW #collabspaces.

2. How Are Modular Environments Creating A More Flexible Workplace?

PSFK is asking readers to show us how they find privacy and solace within their office.

Where do you go to escape from the workplace fray? Take a picture of your favorite workplace escape or share your best technique for maintaining a laser sharp focus.

The best response will get some help finding their privacy with a pair of Beats by Dre Tour Earbuds. Tweet us your ideas to @psfk using #FoW #MySolace.

3. Is Your Office’s Design Keeping You Fit And Focused?

PSFK is asking readers to show us great examples of products and initiatives that help make their workplace healthier.

Do you balance on a fitness ball while balancing the books? Send us pictures of your unique desk setup, or shoot us links to other cool examples of fitness furniture.

The best response will win a Fitbit Ultra Wireless Activity/Sleep Tracker. Tweet us your ideas to @psfk using #FoW #WorkFitness.

4. How Natural Is Your Office?

PSFK is asking readers to show us great examples of naturally-inspired design to improve the workplace.

How is your office bringing the outside in? We want to know what helps keeps you thriving in the workplace.

The best response will win an Urbio Modular Vertical Garden to the reader with the best submission. Tweet us your ideas to @psfk using #FoW #OutsideIn.
