Interactive Infographic Tells Which Olympic Sponsor Is Winning The Online Ad “Race”

In the global dash for online glory this Summer Olympics, which mega-brand would be the eventual front-runner? Viral video tracking service Unruly Media aims to answer this in an interesting fashion by launching Brand Tracker, an interactive infographic that displays which of the 25 leading official sponsors of the London 2012 Olympics are enjoying the most visibility and feedback.

Brand Tracker determines the rankings based on data gathered from Twitter and Facebook, as well as Unruly’s proprietary blog scanning engine, tracking links, and embeds of video ads from multiple sites. Procter and Gamble is leading the “race,” with over 2,419,672 in shares, followed by Samsung (175,120 shares) and EDF (124,186 shares), respectively.
