A marketing campaign takes the popular phrase “get a room” to a new level be giving people displaying affection a free night’s stay.
As part of its marketing campaign, Public Hotel tells couples who show public display of affection (PDAs) to literally “get a room.” Romantic couples who were found kissing, hugging, or holding hands, were approached by the comedian Michael McNamara, and offered a free room at the hotel.
Public Hotel describes itself as “innovative, sophisticated, authentic style, and personalized.” Ian Schrager, an American hotelier and entrepreneur, took the best elements from luxury and boutique hotels, and combined them in Public. The hotel offers 285 guest rooms that have been individually furnished.
