Smartype enables users to keep their eyes on the keys, helping to improve accuracy.
While touch typists have virtually no difficulty typing out long sentences in a keyboard, some users find it challenging to produce a few words without looking at their keyboard. To address this concern, emerging electronics company Keyview has created Smartype, a keyboard concept with a built-in screen that helps users to see what they’re typing, when they’re typing it. In this manner, Smartype aims to help increase overall typing speed, minimize typing errors, enhance focus while typing, and reduce neck and eye strain.
Apart from projecting your typing progress, Smartype will also roll out minimalist versions of Facebook and Twitter for easier and quicker navigation and updates. The Smartype is currently available for purchase in Israel, but is available for pre-order online.
