The Cocoon Tree is a lightweight and waterproof treehouse that can be assembled in less than two hours. The aluminum spherical structure is covered with a resistant tarpaulin, rigged up with ropes, and secured by nets. Inhabitat reportst that the 130-pound pod can comfortably sleep two adults and two small children, and can hold a weight of up to a ton.

It has mosquito nets over the openings and air conditioning powered by the sun and wind. Inside it is nearly 10 feet across, and features a large mattress with a custom-made duvet.
