The family diner has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to introduce 11 new menu items inspired by Tolkien’s epic adventure.
Denny’s is aiming to offer Hobbit fans the perfect place to eat before watching the new film. The family diner has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to introduce exclusive menu items and memorabilia inspired by The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which will be released on December 14th.
Starting on November 6th, Denny’s will feature a new themed menu with eleven items including “Hobbit Hole Breakfast,” “Frodo’s Pot Roast Skillet,” “Bilbo’s Berry Smoothie,” and “Shire Sausage.” Denny’s will also be giving out collectible trading cards designed around the film with the purchase of select Hobbit‐inspired entrees.
Special placemats will provide access to additional movie content via QR codes including videos, online games, and a behind-the-scenes look at Denny’s national TV spot promoting the new menu, which features real-life fans of The Hobbit. Denny’s CMO, Frances Allen, said:

We were inspired by the imaginative world of Middle‐earth and wanted to offer fellow fans an equally inspired food experience to share in the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming debut.
