E is for Electronics is a coloring book that highlights different electronic components alongside their inventors.

These days, electronics are a necessary part of many people’s everyday lives.¬†This coloring book, from Adafruit Industries, puts information alongside a fun activity and helps to demystify the world of consumer electronics.

For example, A is for Ampere:

Ampere describes the number of electrons that flow through a circuit in one second. It is named after Andre-Marie Ampere, who was one of the first people to use math to describe electricity.

E is for Electronics is available for sale on the Adafruit Industries website, but is also available under as a free download under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. Adafruit Industries is all about open source DIY electronics, and this coloring book extends the same philosophy for the enjoyment and education of “makers of all ages.”
