Karl Lagerfeld’s oversized Chanel bag stole the show at the recent spring/summer 2013 show in Paris. The ‘Hula-Hoop bag’ features large black rings with a quilted white section for storing… your beach towel. In the short video below, Lagerfeld explains his motivation for the bag to the Telegraph:

It’s for the beach. You need space for the beach towel, huh? And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.
