Australian contemporary artist Craig Walsh transformed Hyde Park South in Sydney into a surreal environment. ‘Emergence’ is an installation where Walsh projects large faces onto the park’s tree leaves and branches. Each of the three faces tell stories about the park’s history as a meeting place for civic unrest, protest, and direction action.

‘Emergence’ was part of the month-long festival Art & About, celebrating public art installations and exhibition in public spaces around Sydney. Watch the video below to learn more about Walsh’s digital art project.
