Greg Petchkovsky‘s project for the “Make it Real” challenge on Instructables blurs the line between digital and physical. A real sandstone block is augmented with a 3D print to make it seem as though the wall is made of LEGO bricks. The Creators Project reports that Petchkovsky took photos of a missing corner of a sandstone block and then used 3D photoscan software to recreate it and print it out.
