Singapore-based travel startup Roam7’s app helps aspiring jetsetters plan their future adventures by generating a travel guide created from friends’ trips posted on Facebook. With the goal of making travel planning easier, Roam7 transforms Facebook friends’ travel photo albums and comments about their vacations into a travel story and guide for the user. Through this automatic digital information gathering, the guide paints a portrait of the location.

Using the app, travel planners can see where their friends have been by viewing an interactive map with friends’ photos overlaid, check out their recommendations, and find inspiration for future jaunts. Once inspired, users can save their favorite places and activities to a wishlist. The site also allows friends to co-author travel logs and manage, capture, and tag co-shared photo albums.
