The Art World Explained Using New App

Art.com lets you spin your way around the sometimes mystifying market see works that match a color, curator, word, or theme.

Art.com’s free iPad app enables you to explore the site’s large collection of images in a brand new way. It’s clever user interface lets you spin a circle of colors to see artworks that match, spin a circle of curators to see their picks, or spin a circle of art terms like “saturated” to find a relevant collection.

Built in collaboration with design company Hot Studio, ‘artCircles‘ leverages the iPad’s high-resolution display and touchscreen capabilities to provide a unique and engaging art-viewing experience. Deep social integration lets you share works of art with friends. You can also create a personal collection of your favorites and purchase prints of the artworks.
