‘Namesake Motors‘ is a photo series created by art director Jimm Lasser and photographer Ray Gordon. The project pairs a car with its ‘namesake’ or someone that shares the same name as the vehicle, and Lasser dressed up as the famous person in each photo. He explained to Jalopnik that the project was born out of his work in advertising with the auto industry.
